Prior to joining the Revolving Door Project, Nika worked as a war crimes investigator with the International Criminal Court, where she used open-source intelligence (OSINT) to verify media content to hold international governments and actors accountable for international human rights violations. Nika also worked as on-ground journalist in Spain, Argentina, and in Chile covering the human rights abuses amidst the October 2019 social uprising, in collaboration with Amnesty International and the New York Times. Nika graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Sociology and Human Rights.
Nika’s interests include criminal justice, prison abolition, sustainability, environmentalism, and immigration.
