Net worth: $3.1 Billion (As of March, 21, 2025)
- Linda McMahon currently serves as the Secretary of the Department of Education (while it still exists). McMahon has been a major ally of Trump since before he became a candidate for president in 2016. Weeks before the 2016 presidential election, she donated $7 million to help elect Trump.
- While a novice in the field of education, she is very well-versed in the world of politics. McMahon is a Republican mega donor who has financed not only her own two losing Senate bids, but also other Republicans like Chris Christie.
- McMahon got her start building World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) alongside her husband, Vince McMahon. Linda and Vince expanded their wrestling empire at breakneck speed, using legal loopholes to dodge federal health regulations for their wrestlers. The WWE has been the subject of many controversies that have implicated Linda and Vince, including a steroid abuse scandal, wrestler Owen Hart’s televised death, Chris Benoit’s double-murder suicide, and the ring boy sexual abuse scandal. Additionally, Vince is an alleged sexual predator.
- McMahon spent the first Trump administration as the Small Business Administrator, where she cheered on the Trump tax cuts. Some of the largest beneficiaries of the tax cuts are in McMahon’s investment portfolio, including CVS, Disney, and Walgreens.
- After Trump’s loss at the hands of Joe Biden in 2020, McMahon helped found the pro-Trump America First Policy Institute (AFPI). McMahon and others at the think tank spent their time cooking up anti-diversity, anti-education, and in general, policies aimed at only benefiting the wealthiest among us.
