Kenny is a deputy research director at the Revolving Door Project. He has broad interests in the political economy of inequality—how it’s produced and reproduced and how it can be mitigated—as well as just transitions to an egalitarian, democratic, and sustainable society. His writing has been published in The Lever, The American Prospect, Rolling Stone, and The New Republic, among other venues. He has been quoted by multiple outlets, including Bloomberg and The Intercept.
Kenny previously worked as a journalist, GIS analyst, and public school teacher. He earned master’s degrees in Geography and Secondary Social Studies Education from the University of Kentucky and a BA in Political Science and Global Studies from Pacific Lutheran University.
