On June 28, the Revolving Door Project sent a letter to Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley, who is presiding over the FTC’s challenge of the Microsoft/Activision merger in the Northern District of California.
Judge Corley disclosed that her son is an employee of Microsoft at the start of the trial, but did not believe that fact merited her recusal. As we wrote in our letter, this relationship may violate the Code of Conduct for US Judges.
Revolving Door Project’s letter to Judge Corley was reported by the Washington Post’s Technology 202 newsletter on June 29.
