Trackers Help the Public Follow DOGE’s Chaos –– Interviews Available
In its first few months, the Trump administration has overwhelmed the public with chaos and disruption, often making it difficult to follow what is most pressing day-to-day. The Revolving Door Project (RDP) is trying to help make sense of DOGE’s chaos by making tangible the harm that the Trump administration is doing. RDP is providing a range of resources for the media and the public. RDP is regularly updating resources that track public health crises and the Trump administration’s defiance of court orders as well as profiles of DOGE personnel. The trackers aid coverage of the Trump administration’s actions by providing additional context for breaking news.

Hauser is the executive director of the Revolving Door Project.
Hauser told the Institute for Public Accuracy: “DOGE’s attack on our federal government affects real people in material ways. Just this Sunday, the Associated Press reported on DOGE’s effects in Kansas City, Missouri, where the catastrophic impacts vary from cuts to public health facilities making the region “less prepared for the next pandemic” and undermining the education of children via Head Start to the chaos of layoffs undermining both workers and the economic activity that they support. From cuts to the federal workers who give us notice of tornadoes and hurricanes to those who protect us against measles, Americans are much less safe than they used to be due to the absence of the unsung people who for so long served them without public recognition.”
