Timi Iwayemi holds an MA in international economics and African studies from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a BA in economics from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. While at Hopkins, he co-founded Policy Vault Africa, an online repository of government policies in Africa. His past research includes work on land grabs in the Horn of Africa and the role of smallholder farmers in sustainable agricultural development in Africa. His interests include trade, international relations and public policy analysis.
Timi’s writing has appeared in The American Prospect and Common Dreams.
