As President Biden appears (finally!) to begin making his decision about whether or not to reappoint Jerome Powell as Chair of the Federal Reserve, the Revolving Door Project released a series of easy reference documents outlining the major arguments against Powell. We hope that these one-pagers help political professionals, the press, and onlookers to better understand the facts surrounding the reappointment debate. As we’ve highlighted, media reports about the Federal Reserve can tend toward a great deal of deference to the Chair, so dispelling misunderstandings can go a long way.
